#PrepWithPurpose - July 27, 2016: Praying For Hayden

For backstory on what #PrepWithPurpose is all about please read the blog entry and/or Instagram Post.

Hey Friends,

I ended up passing on sprints yesterday. One look out my window and NOT being able to see the Red Rocks because of bad air quality was enough to tell me that I should switch my days around and NOT run outside. I did one of my two upper body days of the week with some endurance training - the entire time my mind was on Dylan. I hope his family felt the extra love.

Today will now be a rest day from lifting and cardio only (HIIT) .. however I'll also probably head to the gym and do some stretching and Rad Rolling and maybe a small glute circuit. I have a beautiful little girl that urgently needs lifting up and for to give me motivation today.

Prep With Purpose - July 27, 2016: Praying For Hayden
Little Hayden is only 4 years old. In her short little life she has been sick more than she has been well. She went through 2.5 years of chemo for leukemia and the cancer has relapsed after 3 months. She is currently in the hospital in Atlanta. She is facing an extended stay in the hospital with chemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant.

Her grandmother posted this on her facebook page on Sunday -- "I was in the room alone with her and had just prayed over her.....asking God to move in a mighty way and heal her body. I tried singing the Barney song to her and she said I had it all wrong. I then asked her to sing it for me and this is what she sang....Jesus Loves Me. God has placed this song in her heart and will be singing it to her when she can't sing it herself. She is Praising God when most adults would be angry at God. I felt lead to share this video as it could be an inspiration to others who are battling trials and tribulations.
Also please keep my family in your prayers as we will be traveling back and forth to be with her. There are many medical decisions to be made over the next few days and the next 30 days are very critical as the doctors work to get her cancer in remission"

She included a video with her post ... turn up the volume and grab some tissue :-(

I hope you dedicate whatever it is you are doing/prepping for today to little Hayden. She is only four. She would be running outside in the sunshine, playing with friends, splashing around in a pool, smiling and laughing. But she is fighting for her life in a hospital. Life is so precious ... please don't take it for granted. Get up .. get moving .. and do it for little Hayden.

XoXo

I want to continue this project/prayer chain. But I'm finding myself spending HOURS searching for people to "lift up and for" because I'm not getting any requests -- I know you guys have to know someone (or have heard of someone) with an ongoing or urgent need for physical healing?
Please send me all details possible, a pic if they don't mind sharing, etc. simplystacyfitness@yahoo.com
