#PrepWithPurpose - July 4th: Family of Sefilina Gray

For backstory on what #PrepWithPurpose is all about please read the blog entry and/or Instagram Post.
Hey Friends,

Since PREP WITH PURPOSE is going to be an ongoing little project and I don't know when I'm gong to be "on prep" and "off prep" .. I decided to stop giving them numbers. I will instead just date them! This also allows me to skip a day and just keep lifting up and for the person from the previous day IF I run out of people! Speaking of .. I am RUNNING LOW! I need YOUR ALLS HELP to keep this going! I need people to LIFT UP AN FOR in order to do this!! So please email me any requests to!

As I said yesterday ... I don't know what exactly I'm prepping for at this point. Right now I'm just trying to absorb this moment and take it all in. I still can not believe I am a professional athlete in the sport of bikini bodybuilding!!! It doesn't matter if I'm prepping for a show or not .. I'm always training! So Prep With Purpose continues!

Today I am passing on a very special request that I got WHILE I was in New Jersey about to go on stage for pre-judging. It is from my very 1st coach Brandy Leaver. It's not exactly a person .. but a family that is in the midst of a tragedy.

PREP WITH PURPOSE - July 4th, 2016 - The family of Sefilina Gray
On Friday night in a Oahu Hawaii, young woman (only 33 years old) named Sefilina Gray passed away after being involved in a fatal car accident involving a 21 year old drunk driver. The alleged drunk driver apparently crossed over and hit Sefilina head on. She now leaves behind a host of friends and family ... including a 5 year old little girl.

As we use our physical strength in the gym today let's lift up and for this family who needs all the strength they can get right now. Especially this little girl who has to grow up without her mother.

RIP Sefilina Gray

I hope you are joining me on this journey! If you are ... please post/share and use the hashtag #PrepWithPurpose! Let's get a huge prayer chain going and in the process maybe make the sport of bodybuilding less about "me, me, me" and a little more about helping others! Our motivation doesn't have to come from ONLY ourselves!

If you know anyone that needs urgent or ongoing prayer for any physical reason please email me all the information and a picture (or a few) to
