Cake Batter Shake


If you are doing *proper* workouts then your muscles need to eat no matter time of day it is. Protein shakes are a great way to do that and most are really simple.

While I sometimes add a little to my morning smoothie, its better to skip all the sugary fruit and stick to basics.

The smoothie I made as my "nightcap" is plenty sweet without fruit. Perfect for my dessert cravings at night.

Low sugar. Low carb. Low calorie. Low fat. High protein. And YES it tastes like cake batter!

Cake Batter Protein Shake
Serves 1
Two spoonfuls ff or low fat cottage cheese (trust me)
1 scoop low sugar/carb/cal vanilla whey protein powder
3-5 drops almond extract
3-5 drops vanilla extract
2-3 Stevia packets
½-1 cup water or unsweetened vanilla almond milk
5-10 ice cubes

Blend till smooth and ENJOY!!!
