This made me laugh pretty loud for 3 o'clock in the morning!!
Maybe it's because I am committed? Maybe it's because I'm getting older? Maybe it's because I remember being sorta like that in a time WELL before your relationship drama was "public". I am not sure, but I get so sick and tired of seeing the same certain gals facebook time line look like this.
Jane and Joe are in a relationship.

Jane is single.
Jane is engaged to Joe.
Jane and Joe are in a complicated relationship.
Jane is single.
Jane is in a relationship with Bob.
I think I am bothered the most by - "It's complicated". Look ladies, you are either together and happy or just break up! Life is tooooooo short to do that back and forth crap and none of us wanna read about your yo yo relationship statuses.
Serious note on this. The large majority of "those" relationships never make it. True .. some people bicker and fight and love each other and are solid - it's just who they are! Like the Notebook couple I guess you could say!! But I have a feeling they aren't the ones filling our news feed with drama. I always have to wonder if it's because so many of us hold onto "hope". I wrote a blog about this back when I first started blogging. I had a lot of people write to me and tell me they needed to read that, so thought I'd link it since it's buried deep in the ole simply stacy archives!
Come on ladies. Stop true loving! Find a real man you don't have to play games with (or stop playing games yourself) or just enjoy the status of SINGLE! We would all appreciate it!!
